The Irish Times Irish Times newspaper (having been a journalist for so many years, you can see I'm still partial to the craft). This is a solidly written Irish newspaper, a little right wing, but great for reading the heart of Ireland. Includes very good contributions on art and culture.

The Irish Landmark Trust Self-catering historic buildings for rent: they are run by the Irish Landmark Trust. The right site if you want to rent your own castle, and be chieftain/king for a week or so in Ireland.
Achill Archaeological Field School Archeological field school based on Achill Island, off the west (County Mayo) coast of Ireland. The school is devoted to the study of the Deserted Village on Achill's Slievemore Mountain, a village deserted by its inhabitants during the Great Famine of 1845-1848. Had a Summer study and lecture program for students and all those interested in archeology. Good source of info on Irish archeology.
